Dental implants are a reliable, long lasting solution to restore missing teeth. Before you decide to get dental implants, It’s important that you are 100% informed of all the benefits of them and what the process entails.
Consultation with Dr. Kruger
During your initial consultation, Dr. Kruger will go over your implant options and answer any questions you may have. Each person’s mouth is unique, which is why we want to make sure you receive the implant solution that’s right for you. If you decide you want dental implants, our team will use a CT scanner to take 3D images of your mouth. The purpose of these x rays is to ensure the dental implants are custom made to fit your mouth.
We know that dental implants are a big financial investment, which is why we’ll go over the costs of the procedure during the consultation as well. We partner with a variety of insurance companies that offer financing plans to fit your budget. In addition to working with your insurance provider, we have a private annual membership that allows our patients to receive discounted prices on our services.
After Dr. Kruger has reviewed the x rays and decided you’re a good fit to receive dental implants, the team will schedule an appointment for you to come back and have your implants places.

Placing Your Implants
Now that your doctor has informed you of what a dental implant is and why it’s beneficial for you, it’s time for you to receive your new teeth. The process varies depending on which implant solution is being implemented, but the same general steps are taken to place your implants.
Step 1 — The dentist will extract your tooth unless it’s already missing
Step 2 — Your dentist will prepare the area and place the implant fixture into your jawbone. In some cases, a bone grafting treatment may be necessary prior to this step to ensure there is enough support for your implant.
Step 3 — The gums and jawbone will be given time to heal before your second procedure.
Step 4 — During the second procedure, Dr. Kruger will attach a connector piece called an abutment to the implant fixture.
Step 5 — Your tooth like natural-looking restoration–single crown, multi-tooth bridge, or full arch denture–will be attached to the abutment.
Receiving dental implants is an in depth process, which is why you’ll be given some form of sedative to ensure that you are relaxed during the entire process and don’t feel any pain.
You’ll Love The Results
Once you receive your new teeth, you’ll start experiencing the benefits immediately. Since dental implants look like your real teeth, you’ll want to smile more and feel more confident in social situations.
Having a complete set of fully functioning teeth will allow for more thorough teeth cleanings both at home and at our office, which will improve your overall oral health. In order to keep your implants looking nice, it’s important that you follow Dr. Kruger’s guide to post operative dental implant care.
